Yesterday we had church at Gap Park. The weather was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. The worship team really sounded great. I was wishing I could still be a part of the team. I really miss not being able to play guitar any more. I always looked forward to Sundays so I could play.
But in spite of all my losses, I still have so much to be thankful for, my family who support me so much, my church family that support us with their prayers and host fundraisng events to help with medical equiptment and supplies that insurance won't cover, and my wife and sons who are always there for me when I need them. Even though I'm extremely limited to what I can do, I think that I am still able to remain fairly indpendent.

Keep perservering, Gordie! Lately, I was reminded again how limmited you are and how difficult that could be. It challanges me to be more thankful for the blessings I have because of your postive attitude. You are such an encouragement! Stay focussed! Love you, Thelma
Hi Gordie,
Thanks for sharing your day with us on your blog. I would say Clint and Tonya look pretty excited!! Family weddings are so much fun.
Have you signed up for the website www.dailyencouragement.com yet.
I think I told you about it. It comes 5 days a week and there is usually some pretty cool stuff on it.
See you on Wednesday night at BIH

You're awesome. Awesome! I have come to believe that it is ok to not be happy about our "suffering with Christ". Sure, as we mature in Christ, a deeper experience is attached to our suffering and the blessing of that growing relationship is amazing. But, I believe that God treasures our honesty over a superficial smile and insincere praise. He can handle it. So, sometimes we just have to be like the little children that Jesus encouraged us to be like. Have you watched a three year old when they don't get what they want or are in pain? It's not pretty, but we love them anyway. Maybe we should take Jesus' words more literally. Watch the children, Gordie. They know how to be honest and trust that they will be loved and accepted in spite of their fickle nature. It's ok to not like your situation. What kid would! :)
Love you.
You are blessed with an amazing family. Congrats to Clint!!! And you! You're gettin' a daughter! Are you ready?
Your posts on Carl's blog are an encouragement to me!
